The Regional Network of Centres for Advanced Studies in Southeast Europe (RECAS) is driving societal change by enhancing the visibility, quality, and relevance of research in the Western Balkans and Southeast Europe. This initiative empowers early career researchers to engage in socially relevant and policy-oriented research within the region. RECAS is collaboratively hosted by leading universities across seven countries, supported by a diverse international network that includes academics, civil society, and policymakers.
Several universities have committed to this collaborative effort, having signed agreements to join the network. These institutions include the University of Rijeka, the University of Belgrade, the University of Montenegro, the University of SS. Cyril and Methodius, the University of Sarajevo, the University of Prishtina Hasan Prishtina, the University of Tirana, and the University of Ljubljana.
