From June 12 to 13 2023, the University of Montenegro in Podgorica hosted the first workshop on internationalization strategy in the framework of the European Association Eutopia More and the Rectors’ Forum of South Eastern Europe and the Western Balkans.
At the workshop, representatives of the Slovenian Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the University of Montenegro, the University of Warwick and the University of Ljubljana presented the internationalization strategy, the approach to establishing international partnerships, participation in international programmes, networks and associations, promotional and support activities for international students, examples of good practice and the challenges they face.
The second day was devoted to a workshop on the preparation of an internationalization strategy, where participants learned about the methodology, vision, objectives and strategic activities that will help them to prepare or update their internationalization strategy and to monitor and evaluate its implementation.
The workshop was attended by representatives of the University of Montenegro, the University of Sarajevo, the University of Mostar, the Džemal Bijedić University of Mostar, the University of Rijeka, the University of Shkodra “Luigj Gurakuqi”, Bernardo O’Higgins University and the University of Ljubljana.
The University of Ljubljana organises various activities, events and workshops on topical issues within the framework of Eutopia More, the European association of universities, and the Rectors’ Forum of Southeast Europe and Western Balkans.
