The University of Mostar is pleased to announce the 6th International Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Week, focusing on Joint and Double Degree Programmes as a Tool for Internationalisation. This event is designed for both academic and administrative staff interested in learning more about the University of Mostar as well as exploring the challenges and opportunities within the Erasmus+ Programme. Participation in the programme is free of charge. Please note that travel and accommodation costs are not included and should be covered by participants.

The institute explores the democratic potential and limits of institutions in the twenty‑first century, focusing on the transformation of social struggle into durable and legitimate democratic institutions. Summer School in Critical Theory and Praxis: Literature and Society
5 to 12 July 2026 | Moise Palace, Island of Cres, Croatia

The Summer School in Critical Theory and Praxis: Literature and Society is organised in collaboration with partners within the Horizon Europe project The Cartography of the Political Novel in Europe and hosted by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb – Centre for Theoretical Research in the Humanities (CTIH). Conceived as a meeting point for academia, cultural and civil society institutions, and the wider public, the seven-day interdisciplinary programme brings together scholars, students, researchers, artists, educators, activists, cultural practitioners, and policymakers. Through lectures, workshops, and cultural events, the Summer School connects theoretical inquiry with literary and artistic practice, encouraging critical discussion of contemporary social and political issues and fostering new collaborations. Participants will engage in an international learning environment, exchange ideas with distinguished lecturers and artists, and network with peers from diverse backgrounds.

Call for Applications: Prishtina International Summer University (PISU) 2026
6 – 17 July 2026 | Prishtina, Kosovo

The Call for Applications for the 26th edition of the Prishtina International Summer University (PISU) 2026 is now open. PISU 2026 will take place from 6 to 17 July 2026 and will offer 19 diverse academic courses, delivered by distinguished international and local professors. The programme brings together students and scholars from four continents, combining academic excellence with intercultural exchange. In addition to high-quality coursework, participants will benefit from a rich programme of cultural activities, excursions, and networking opportunities, fostering dialogue, collaboration, and regional understanding. The programme is open to both Kosovo and international students.

SS. CYRIL AND METHODIUS UNIVERSITY IN SKOPJE
Third International Summer School in Econometrics
10 – 15 September 2026 | Skopje, North Macedonia

The Third International Summer School in Econometrics offers two specialized workshops in econometrics, both delivered by Professor Mustafa Özer, PhD, a renowned expert in econometrics from Anadolu University, Eskişehir, Turkey. The summer school provides an excellent opportunity for students, researchers, and professionals to deepen their understanding of quantitative and econometric analysis, with a strong focus on practical, real-world applications. The acquired knowledge will be relevant not only for macro- and microeconomics, but also for related fields such as tourism, political science, sociology, education, forestry, and agricultural economics. A particular emphasis will be placed on applied regression analysis, offering participants hands-on experience with real data and empirical analysis. Through the application of modern econometric methods, participants will strengthen their analytical skills and develop the ability to build predictive models that support informed decision-making in conditions of uncertainty. Participants may earn 2 ECTS credits per workshop, or 4 ECTS credits for completing both workshops. All participants will be granted the opportunity for free publication of their papers in the international scientific journal Economic Development.

JRC Summer School 2026 on the Evaluation of Air, Soil and Water Pollution

JRC Summer School 2026 on the Evaluation of Air, Soil and Water Pollution is organized by the Joint Research Centre (European Commission) in partnership with Goce Delchev University – Stip, North Macedonia. The summer school will take place 14–18 September 2026 and is aimed at early-career researchers, PhD candidates, and professionals in environmental science, pollution assessment, and environmental policy. The interdisciplinary programme combines scientific approaches, policy insights, and practical case studies, with a focus on air, soil, and water pollution.
